URL white-labelling is an optional feature to hide any reference to Logixboard from your account. We can set a custom domain for your main URL, and emails and remove the Logixboard logo on your account.

🌟 White-labelling is a premium feature. To activate it, reach out to your CSM or Account Manager.

Best Practices

Some things to consider with the set-up of white-labelling.

Logixboard cannot be accessed from a path, only a domain.

For example, where Acme Forwarding has a Logixboard (previously acme-forwarding.logixboard.com) their new options for while labelling are:

  • tracking.acme-forwarding.com

  • acme-forwarding-tracking.com

We cannot use acme-forwarding.com/tracking as that is a PATH not a DOMAIN

  • We recommend choosing a domain for Logixboard’s emails that is different from your normal company’s email addresses.

    • We suggest using a subdomain for example, tracking.acme-forwarding.com or a separate domain entirely like acme-forwarding-tracking.com.

  • Having separate domains will eliminate any potential risk of deliverability issues on your main domain impacting the delivery of Logixboard emails, and vice versa. This is not a requirement but a recommendation for optimum results and we can use your main domain if preferred.

Setting up your white-labelling

Your CSM will guide you through the steps below:

  1. We need the white-labeled URL you would like to use to access your Logixboard instance (e.g. my-custom-url.yourdomain.com).

  2. You can choose to use the white-labelled URL instead of yourdomain.logixboard.com for any emails sent out by Logixboard

  3. Your clients are able to sign up for email notifications. We can use your customized URL for these emails instead of using the default [email protected].

  4. Once you provide us with the custom URL from step 1, we will provide you with a CNAME record. You will need to add 2 CNAME records to enable the UI white-labeling

    • 1 to map custom URL to Logixboard instance

    • 1 for our public Amazon Certificate Manager authentication/permission

  5. Once you provide the sender email from step 2, we will provide you with CNAME records. You will need to add 3 CNAME records and add/update your SPF record in order to enable custom email sending.

    • 1 CNAME for SendGrid routing

    • 2 CNAMEs for SendGrid DKIM validation

    • SPF record for SendGrid authorization

Once this information is gathered by the LXB team, the initial configuration can begin.

6. You will be asked to add 1 CNAME record in order to validate our public Amazon Certificate Manager authentication/permission

7. We will send over the remaining CNAME records to you to update:

  • add 1 CNAME record in order to enable the UI white-labeling

  • add 3 CNAME records and add/update your SPF record in order to enable custom email sending.

8. We will coordinate a date and time as to when you would like to start using the white-labelled URL for emails and link generation.
