Introduction
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Logixboard account by requiring two or more forms of verification before granting access.

🔐 MFA Availability
MFA is available by default as an optional feature for all users.
In some cases, MFA may be mandatory depending on how your Logixboard platform is configured. If required, you'll be prompted to set it up after your first login.
To enable MFA manually:
Navigate to Settings > Profile.
Scroll Down until you see Multi-Factor Authentication
Click on Set Up.
Select Authentication App and click Set Up.
Download an Authenticator App on your device. (We recommend Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo Mobile, or Authy).
Scan the QR Code shown in the Logixboard platform using your authenticator app.
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your app and click Next.
And Voila! You've setup MFA 🔐
🧰 Troubleshooting MFA Issues
Here are some common problems and how to fix them:
1. MFA Code Not Working
This is often due to incorrect date or time settings on your device.
Fix:
• Go to your phone’s Date & Time settings.
• Enable Set Automatically or Use Network Time.
• Reopen your authenticator app and try again.
2. Lost or Changed Authenticator Device
If you’ve lost access to your authenticator device or switched phones.
Fix:
1. Install the same Authenticator App on your new device.
2. Log in using your app credentials (if available).
3. If your codes do not appear:
◦ Contact your Admin.
◦ They will reset your account and create a new one.
◦ You'll need to re-enable MFA during your next login.
3. Locked Out After Too Many Attempts
Repeatedly entering the wrong code can temporarily lock you out.
Fix:
1. Wait a few minutes and try again.
2. Still locked out? Contact your Admin for assistance.
4. Can't Scan the QR Code
If your phone camera isn’t working or the code won’t scan:
Fix:
• Clean your camera lens or adjust screen brightness.
• Click Copy Secret Key (located under the QR code).
• Paste it into your authenticator app to complete setup manually.
