When creating Orders in Logixboard, the actual Order ID will usually populate in minutes. However, there are cases where the Order ID may show "Order ID Pending" for longer than expected.
The intended logic behind how things work:
When an Order is initially created in Logixboard (LXB), it doesn't have an Order ID immediately. Instead, it shows as "Order ID Pending". The order is then written back to CargoWise One (CW1), which is where the actual Order ID is generated. CW1 assigns a unique identifier to each Order. This process usually takes a couple of minutes, after which the Order ID should be visible in Logixboard. Once generated, the Order ID is updated in Logixboard, replacing the "Order ID Pending" text.
Here are some of the reasons why that can happen:
The view may be out of date - a simple browser refresh might do the trick.
The newly created Order hasn’t been fully processed by the system yet, or there may be a delay between Order creation and assignment of the unique identifier by the TMS (CW1). Please allow up to 5 minutes for the system to process the change.
Problems with the integration between systems can also lead to missing Order IDs.
Issues in the process of generating unique Order IDs can result in missing identifiers:
The TMS failed to generate a unique identifier for the order.
Conflicts or errors in the identifier generation process.
In some cases, Order IDs might be hidden due to your user permissions:
Your access level doesn't allow viewing of certain order details, including the ID or the Order ID that you're trying to view does not belong to an Org you've been assigned with.
