The Actions button replaces the separate file buttons that used to live in the file header, one for each file type you could start. Instead of scanning the header for the right button, you click Actions, then pick what you want to do.
You'll still see Start File. It hasn't gone anywhere. It's the button that kicks off the Create Files wizard once you've selected your source documents; Actions is just how you get to that wizard now.
Note: This is rolling out gradually. If you don't see an Actions button yet, it isn't enabled for your organization yet. Reach out to your Logixboard contact if you'd like to be included.
Where to find it
The Actions button sits in the file header inside the companion pane, next to the search bar. Click it to open the menu.
What's inside the menu
The menu is organized around where you are:
Suggested for you appears when Helm has something specific for you, like a draft ISF you started but didn't finish.
On this email lets you create a new file from the current email: New Order, New Booking, New Consol, New Shipment, New ISF, New Entry. If the email is already matched to a file, you'll also see Unlink here.
On [file number] covers actions on the file you're already matched to, like Upload documents and Edit [consol/shipment/etc.].
Same destination, different starting point
However you start, from the Actions menu or from a green suggestion card, you land in the same place. Choosing New ISF from Actions, for example, takes you through the identical Select Sources > form > Review File flow as clicking Continue Reviewing ISF. The same is true across Order, Booking, Consol, Shipment, and Entry: pick your source documents, click Start File, fill in the tabs, click Review File, and submit.

Every file type follows this same shape once you click Start File: a tabbed form (Details, Routing, Containers, and so on depending on the file type), a Review File button, and a submission status screen confirming the result.
Why this matters: you don't need to remember which button to use. Pick whichever one is in front of you. The outcome is the same.
