Demo Mode uses real data but anonymizes all sensitive information like shipment IDs, addresses, and related parties. It also hides any real documents/invoices/notes and replaces them with demo content.
This is a helpful tool for your sales and operations teams when showing off the functionality of your platform to customers and prospects. Showing the platform in action with real (but anonymized) data could be the tipping point to landing that new deal or expanding an existing customer.
Enabling Demo Mode
You must work with your Account Manager (AM) or Technical Account Manager (TAM) to set up Demo Mode.
They will run a backfill of data, and then you will see the Demo Mode available in the platform.
Selecting Demo Orgs
We recommend selecting 3-5 shipper orgs for use with Demo Mode. Consider the following when selecting your demo orgs:
Choose high volume orgs that best represent the data of your overall customer base.
Prioritize orgs that are using all services and transport modes you provide. S-files, B-files, Orders etc. (If you don't have customers that leverage all of these services, then we suggest a combination of customers that do.)
Consider choosing orgs that move cargo in the primary region(s) you specialize in.
Choose orgs you are actively working with, since they will have the most up-to-date, active data.
If you're unsure which orgs would be best, our team can make specific recommendations.
Using Demo Mode
Once enabled, Demo Mode is visible in the nav bar to Admins and Operators.
When using Demo Mode, a blue banner will appear just below the nav bar, reminding you that the view is not intended to be fully operational, and itโs intended for demo purposes only.
๐ ๏ธ Note: not all features are currently available in Demo Mode. For example, you will be unable to show ISF.
