Q&A from the session:

Streamlined Shipment Filters

  1. Can the filtering be turned off?

Yes. Users are able to toggle this and filter back in these shipments if desired by clicking on the eye icon found on the Shipment Explorer table.

  2. Will this filter be applied by default?

Yes. The Shipment Explorer will automatically filter out shipments with an ETA/ETD over 2 months.

TEUs Visibility In Analytics

  1. Is the Analytics module included in Logixboard?

    Yes

  2. If my customer wants to know how many TEUs they’ve moved over the past year, would that be possible to do?

    Yes

  3. Can we download or export TEU information?

    Yes

ACT Writeback

  1. If we enter it in CW manually, will this be overwritten by your data?

    Yes, it will be overwritten

  2. What modes are included?

Ocean and Rail (rail is only available if the carrier is handling the inland rail portion of the shipment journey)

  3. Does ACT support LCL shipments?

ACT does not cover LCL shipments

  4. Is the system able to run predictive analytics and factor potential delays with current market conditions?

No, we do not do predictive analytics at this time

  5. Are you integrated with Rail Inc?

No, all rail data comes from the carrier at this time

  6. How will you handle ETAs from carriers, when the mode is switched?

If you have defined intermodal legs in CargoWise outside of what the ocean carrier is handling, we will not overwrite those legs.

  7. How often is the data updated?

You can expect a maximum documented delay of 4h for events in early transit and less than 2h for events in late transit.

Product Inventory Visibility

  1. What special attributes does Logixboard support?

Expiration Date (30/60/90d buckets for ease of use)

    Packing Date

    Serial Number

3 Custom Attributes that you can define as you see fit

  2. Will the warehouse module show location when multiple warehouses are in use?

Yes - each row in the Product Inventory Visibility table is the stock of an item in a particular warehouse. So if for example you looked up SKU 123 and had stock in 3 different warehouses, you'd see 3 rows.

Bookings

  1. What happens after the option is confirmed? Does this get connected to a shipment eventually?

When a Logixboard booking is confirmed we create a CargoWise Shipment file and link that shipment to the booking to give you a direct connection to the shipment in Logixboard.

  2. Who receives emails from our side when a booking option is requested and approved?

Whoever signs up for the email notification(s) and has access to the client org as defined in the booking (client = requesting party)

  3. Is it possible to enable bookings on a customer by customer level?

That is already possible now. We don't have a way for you to do it yourselves yet but you can send us individual companies to turn it for and we can take care of that on our end.

  4. Is there an ability to upload docs when creating a booking?

You and your customers can upload documents when creating a booking request and at any point afterward.

  5. Is it possible to confirm a booking at any time?

If the established process with your customer does not require gathering approvals from them, you can skip that step. Click Confirm Booking at any time to notify your customer of the booking confirmation and create the Shipment file in your TMS.
