In order to help limit what organizations can be seen by certain users on Logixboard, Operator Users can be associated with a branch from CargoWise and inherit any organization(s) with that branch set to its controlling branch within CargoWise.

This enables the management of permissions in Cargowise while Logixboard will respect the changes that are made.

Using Branch Assignments in CargoWise

Follow these steps to add a controlling branch to an organization in CargoWise:

  1. Log into CargoWise under the company and branch to be updated.

  2. Navigate to Maintain from the top navigation

  3. Select Master Data

  4. Click on Organization

  5. Find the organization to add a controlling branch to by using the filters and the search box

  6. Double-click the organization you wish to modify

  7. Click on the Details tab

  8. Click on the Details sub-tab

  9. Click the Controlling Branch field to select the controlling branch

  10. Find the branch to be assigned to the organization

  11. Click the SAVE & CLOSE button

Migrating an Existing User

Have you already created an Operator User and want to migrate them to this user type? No problem. Just email the Logixboard Support team at [email protected] and provide the email addresses for the existing users as well as the CW1 code for each user and we can handle the migration for you.

🛠️ Once the user is migrated, there is no way to revert them back to their previous state. All their application settings will carry over to the new user type.
