User role permissions in Logixboard are designed to control access to various features and data within the application. This guide outlines the capabilities and limitations for each of the profiles.
User Role Types:
User Administrator
Operator
Customer
External User
Demo User
1. User Admin
Access all organizations: Admin users have full access to organizational records and documents.
View As feature: In addition to Admin view, these users have the ability to view the platform as an Operator, Customer and Demo User.
Manage user accounts and permissions: Admins can invite new users, manage user invitations, delete or assign more organizations to an existing user.
Announcements: Create and update announcement banners
Site Customization: This includes updating the primary brand color, logo and favicon
Add/Update customer logo: Upload a custom logo for organizations
Default Shipment Explorer View: Customize the Shipment Explorer table, save and set a default view for customers by selecting a Saved View.
Document Types: Select document types that their customers will be allowed to upload. Changing these settings won't affect previously uploaded files.
Visibility Settings: Customize what information you want visible to your customers.
Bookings Auto-Approval: Configure auto-approval for Bookings.
2. Operator
An Operator is an internal user and can be granted access to multiple organizations across the application. There are 3 different Operator access levels.
Operator - All Organizations
Has access to an aggregate view of all organizations in the Logixboard account.
Operator - Select Organizations
Has access to individual organizations as assigned within Logixboard.
Operator - CargoWise Staff
Has access to individual organizations based on their CargoWise Staff Permissions settings. You can add additional organizations in Logixboard beyond what they have via CargoWise Staff Permissions.
Operator - CargoWise Branch
Has access to organizations based on the user's associated branches in CargoWise. You can add additional organizations in Logixboard beyond what they have via CargoWise Staff Permissions.
3. Customer
A Customer is the most common type of user. A user can be granted access to multiple organizations.
4. External User
This user role will only have access to bookings they create. External users cannot be assigned to organizations.
5. Demo User
The demo environment uses anonymized data, enabling LSPs to demonstrate the platform's capabilities to current and prospective customers without exposing sensitive information from other clients.
