Overview
Now, Agents can now view bookings they did not originally create. As long as their organization is assigned an agent role on the booking, that agent will have visibility. This change removes a long-standing visibility gap and enables smoother coordination between forwarders and their external agent partners.
What Changed
If an agent organization is assigned to a booking in one of the supported agent roles, users with the Agent (External User) role can view that booking regardless of who created it. Supported agent roles include:
Pickup Agent
Controlling Agent
Overseas Agent
Export Broker
Delivery Agent
This applies automatically. No additional setup or workflow changes are required.
Common Use Cases
A freight forwarder creates a booking on behalf of their customer and assigns a pickup agent β the agent can now immediately view and act on it
Multiple agents collaborate on the same shipment β all assigned agents share visibility
Ops teams reduce manual coordination when handing off bookings externally
Things to note: agents still cannot edit or access bookings they are not assigned to. Visibility is expanded, but still tightly controlled.
