Reverting Delivered Status

All shipments within Logixboard have a shipment status that is derived from data and events received from CargoWise (CW1). However, there are cases where a shipment is mistakenly marked as delivered in CW1, triggering a DCF event that also marks the shipment as delivered in our application. Even if the user fixes the data in CW1, the updated information is not sent to our application, resulting in the shipment status remaining as delivered.

To address this issue, we allow you to revert the status of a delivered shipment to its previous status in Logixboard

Step by Step:

In the case of an erroneous update in CW1 the LSP should:

Step 1: Remove two dates In CargoWise

  • Remove the Actual Delivery date in the Delivery tab (Operate —> Forwarding —> Shipments —> Delivery —> Actual Delivery)

  • Remove the Actual date in the Workflow & Tracking > Milestones tab (Operate —> Forwarding —> Shipments —> Workflow & Tracking —> Milestones —> DCF Event —> Dates —> Actual)

Step 2: In Logixboard

  • Go to the shipment details page of the shipment that has the inaccurate delivered status.

  • Click the ✨ new ✨ ”Revert” button

  • Once the revert button is clicked there is an indication next to the status that it has been reverted to the previous status. This will also be logged in the activity tab of that shipment.

New Status Display for Customers

Once a shipment status has been reverted following the steps above, your customers will see the previous status for the shipment in the status bar. They will be also able to see that the status was manually reverted in the activity tab of that shipment.

💡 Your customers will not see the name of the user who reverted the status.

Customers will get email notifications if they signed up for notifications for that particular shipment status that it was reverted to.

FAQs

What happens if I update the delivery date in CW1 after the change? We will recalculate the shipment status based on the updated data and reflect the most recent shipment status.

How many times can I revert the status? There is no limit to the number of revisions you can make to a shipment as long as the steps above are followed each time.

Can I change any other status in Logixboard? No. At this time only reversions to the Delivered status can be made.

Will my customer get notified of the change? Customers will not be notified of the change, but will see the change reflected on both the status bar of the shipment and the Activity tab of the shipment. Customers will get email notifications only if they signed up for notifications for that particular shipment status.
