In order to help limit what organizations can be seen by certain users on Logixboard, Operator Users can be associated with a profile within CargoWise and inherit the organization permissions from CargoWise.

This enables the management of permissions in Cargowise while Logixboard will respect the changes that are made.

Providing access to additional Organizations in Logixboard

New Operator

Admins can grant access to additional organizations to a new Operator - CargoWise Staff user by following the steps below.

  1. Enter the User email and select the appropriate configuration.

  2. Select CargoWise Staff Permissions and enter the Staff Code.

  3. Click on Include Additional Organizations.

  4. Enter and select the appropriate Organization or Organization Code.

Existing Operator

If a user has been create as an Operator with 'All Organizations' or 'Selected Organizations' access, Admins can swap or update access to either.

However, you cannot update Operator to CargoWise Staff Permission or CargoWise Branch permission. In case of need, we suggest you to delete the user and re-invite them with the desired Organizational Access (CargoWise Staff Permissions or CargoWise Branch).

Additionally, Admins can grant access to additional organizations to an existing Operator - CargoWise Staff user by following the steps below.

  1. Search for the user under Settings → User Admin → User Management.

  2. Click on the Pencil icon on the left.

  3. Go to Additional Organizations.

  4. Enter and select the appropriate Organization or Organization Code.

  5. Hit Save.

Migrating an Existing User

Have you already created an Operator User with 'All Organizations' access and want to migrate them to this user type? No problem. Just email the Logixboard Support team at [email protected] and provide the email addresses for the existing users as well as the CW1 code for each user and we can handle the migration for you.

🛠️ Once the user is migrated, there is no way to revert them back to their previous state. All their application settings will carry over to the new user type.
