Custom data fields allow you to provide a more customized experience for your clients. Add additional fields to your Shipment Explorer experience for CargoWise Shipment (S-) and Brokerage (B-) files.
Simple data fields are best suited for this feature (e.g., identifiers, short text strings, simple properties such as Service Level), but more complex multi-part data fields may be possible to support (e.g., addresses) — these will need to be assessed with our Engineering team.
To set up this feature:

Specify your desired column header in LXB.

Q: How long will it take to implement a request for a new column?
A: Requests may take up to a few weeks, as engineering will work requests into standard sprint planning cycles.
Q: Are there other limitations to what we can support?

Company-specific fields are not currently supported, though it may be technically feasible to do so in the future.
If the requested field is part of an array of nested collections, this may not be possible to extract. Engineering will assess these on a case-by-case basis, as noted above.
We do not currently support lists (for example, a comma-separated list of Container Numbers)
Q: How many fields can I add?
A: We ask you to limit your request to 10 fields, if you need more please speak to your CSM.
