Using the View As feature in Demo Mode is a helpful tool for your sales and operations teams when showing off the functionality of your Logixboard. The ability for a customer to see the platform working with real (but anonymized) data could be the tipping point to landing that new deal or expanding an existing customer.
Demo Mode is visible to Admins and Operators through the View As Feature.

Enabling Demo Mode
Before Demo Mode is available, you will set up this mode with your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Technical Account Manager (TAM) during onboarding.
Recommendations for selecting Demo Orgs
We tell them that they should have high volume orgs that represent data of the rest of the customer base.
Ideally orgs that are using all services you provide. S-files, B-files, Orders etc. If you don't have customers that leverage all of these services, then we suggest a combination of customers that do
Select orgs you actively work with, as it will continue to provide data to the demo environment and keep the data current.
How it works
Demo Mode takes real data from your CargoWise and anonymizes all sensitive information like shipment ID’s, route, addresses, and related parties. It also hides any real documents/invoices/notes and replaces them with demo content.
You have 2 options for selecting data to populate your Demo Mode:
Select 3-5 org codes of your choosing
Ask our support team to choose for you. Our team will select data from your top 3-5 highest volume shipper Orgs.
One benefit to your team choosing the Orgs used to populate demo mode is you can hand-select shippers with a variety of shipment modes, or shipments from different parts of the world, so the map view in the Shipment Explorer in Demo Mode will show shipments in the primary region(s) you move cargo.
Next, we will run a backfill of data and you will see the Demo Mode option under View As within your instance. Click Settings > View As > Demo Mode and your view will change to this demo mode. You can interact with the shipments and navigate to the major modules to show off the functionality of your Logixboard without worrying there will be sensitive information exposed to your prospects/different customers.
🛠️ Note: not all features are currently enabled for Demo Mode. For example, you will be unable to show how a user can upload a document to a shipment.
When in Demo Mode, a yellow warning sign ⚠️ will be at the top right of the platform, reminding you that the view is not intended to be fully operational, and it’s intended for demo purposes only.
