The Inventory Explorer provides a complete, up-to-date view of all your product inventory in warehouse storage.

To access the Inventory Explorer:

1. Open the Explore drop-down

2. Click on the Warehousing drop-down

3. Select Inventory.

🌟 Warehousing is a premium feature. To activate it, reach out to your CSM or Account Manager.

You can switch between a Summary view or a Details view of your inventory.

  • The Summary view is a quick overview that groups products by upcoming expiration windows (e.g. Expiring <30 Days or Expiring <60 Days).

  • The Details view allows you to include additional product attributes, like pallet ID, and shows the specific expiration dates.

Like other tables, the Inventory Explorer is designed to be flexible. You can:

  • Customize which columns are displayed

  • Use the column headers to sort or filter the data

  • Export the data to CSV

  1. Click Create Order to initiate warehouse order creation.

2. Click into a row to open a detailed view of that product.

Field Descriptions

Fields available in the Inventory Explorer include:

  • Activity: Indicates if there are planned product movements. A green arrow means there are inbound receipts in progress. An orange arrow means there are outbound orders in progress. You can click the icons to see more details.

  • Total Quantity: Number of product units you currently have stored in that warehouse location.

  • Available: Number of product units available to pick

    Available = Total Quantity – Committed – Reserved – Held* – Damaged*

*The Held and Damaged numbers are not visible in the Inventory Explorer but are part of the calculation.

  • Reserved: Number of product units reserved for outbound warehouse orders via cross-dock allocations.

  • Committed: Number of product units committed to be picked for outbound warehouse orders (pick slip has been created, but the order has not been finalized).

  • At Client: The Available number converted from the product file’s stock keeping unit (e.g. Eaches, Cartons) to the client’s stock-keeping unit (e.g. Pallet).

  • Replenish Min (available in the Details view): This is for warehouses using Pick Faces. The number of product units that will trigger a request to move inventory from a bulk location.

  • Economic Qty (available in the Details view): This is for warehouses using Pick Faces. The “ideal” number of product units to have on hand.
