Admin or operator users in Logixboard can create a booking on behalf of a client. The process is mostly consistent, but required fields may vary by user.

🌟 Bookings is a premium feature. If you wish to activate it, please reach out to your CSM or Account Manager.

Creating a Booking

Visit the Creating a Booking article to get the process started.

Booking Options

Once the form is filled out, the booking can be sent to the client for approval if needed.

From there, the admin or operator can manage the booking on behalf of the client:

  1. Select the 3 dots in the right-hand corner to enable a variety of actions:

    1. Put on hold

    2. Cancel

    3. Delete

    4. Create a copy

  2. Edit the booking request or use the in-app chat to leave messages or updates for your client

  3. (Optional) Click the Request Approval button to prompt your client to review and approve any edits you make during this process

Quoting and Rate Options

Use the Create Option button to input route and rate options for your client. You can add multiple different options and set expiry dates for each one.

  1. Select Create Option and fill out the required fields including origin port, destination port, ETD, ETA, and primary mode

  2. Add in option rates, currency, and expiration date for each quote

  3. Choose to edit or hide the quote once it's created, or create multiple options

  4. Upon adding the correct routes and quotes, send the booking back to your client for approval or confirm it on their behalf without them approving the rates

  5. Allow the client to choose the correct quote and approve the booking

  6. Once both parties are happy, select Confirm Booking to complete the booking process

  7. Once confirmed, the booking will create a shipment file and write back to CW1

Logixboard Bookings and CargoWise One

Bookings will sync back to your CargoWise One as a shipment file once you have confirmed a booking. Any documents uploaded can be found in the eDocs once the booking is confirmed.

Notifications

Enable notifications for bookings so you never miss an update on your active bookings.

  1. Go to the settings menu and notifications tab

  2. Enable notifications for all bookings when the status changes:
