The Quick Shipment View enables you to access an overview of your shipment details from the Dashboard. Through this feature, you can keep tabs on your cargo without opening up the Shipment Explorer, with linked messages to streamline communications.
Click on a specific shipment to access the corresponding Quick Shipment View.
Accessing the Quick Shipment View
From the inbox, estimated arrivals/departure view, or pinned shipments, quickly open up a shipment in more detail to see where it is in its journey.
Within this view you can view:
Shipment status
Exceptions
Activity
Recent documents uploaded
Pin and Follow a Shipment
Select the pin icon to pin as shipment to the dashboard. Use the bell icon to follow a specific shipment, which will allow you to receive notifications about that shipment.
Messages
The message dialog is available on the Quick and Detailed Shipment Views.
Everyone who can access the shipment can leave a message about a specific shipment and everyone else (with access) will be notified by email when a new message is left. To modify these notifications, go to Notifications in the Settings menu.
All historical messages will be saved against the shipment file and they cannot be deleted. They will remain in the platform and do not sync back to CargoWise. If you do not want customers to access the messaging feature, it can be disabled across the platform. Submit a request through the in-app support form or email [email protected].
